Some Thoughts on Religion (and other non-existent stuff)

Q: Is the belief in superpowers, gods, religion, spirituality, ghosts, and extraterrestrials a flaw in one’s character?

A: At the very least, and when said people aren’t dangerous, yes.

Q: Do I hate these people:

A: No.

Man Sues World of Warcraft, Subpoenas Winona Rider and Depeche Mode

Professional plaintiff Erik Estavillo has sued Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Now, he’s set his sights on the world’s most popular MMO. Along with suing Blizzard for the anguish they’ve caused him, he has subpoenaed Depeche Mode’s Martin Lee Gore because “he himself has been known to be sad, lonely, and alienated as can be seen in the songs he writes,” and Ryder because of her and Estavillo’s common interest in The Catcher in the Rye. Ryder would be able to, “explain the significance of alienation in Catcher in the Rye and will also testify to how alienation in the book can tie to alienation in real live/video games such as World of Warcraft.”
Unrelated: I want to bone Winona Ryder.

Logan Walters: “The Many Faces of a Space Invader”
A request to publish his original “Many Faces” piece in a video game art zine gave Walters the opportunity to bulk up his work with 10 new aliens. According to a recently blog post, he is presently “looking into my options for printing it.”

Weezer - “Across the Sea”

Pinkerton may not be a perfect record, but it’s a pretty perfect Weezer record. And, for my money, “Across the Sea” is still a high-water mark on all fronts.

It encapsulates Rivers’ sweet/creepy/obsessive/self-pitying vibe in one exquisitely catchy little Japanese box. Which box probably contains a pair of used and extremely well-sniffed ladies’ underpants. But, whatever. Artists.

Still. I fucking love this song to death.

This is live in Japan.  Which is perfect.

And I see this and all I can think is how the fuck can anyone give Raditude more than 2 stars? Seriously.
